The following resources may be used by parents and leaders in their efforts to protect youth.
The Personal Safety Adventures
Scouting America is committed to creating safe environments for Scouts and leaders. Child abuse is an uncomfortable topic but an important one for us to cover to ensure the safety and well-being of our Scouts.
Before starting work on these adventures, den leaders should review Scouting’s Barriers to Abuse since the adventures are intended to complement our many existing youth-protection measures.
The Personal Safety Adventures are required for the Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, Webelos, and Arrow of Light rank badges.
