The Assistant General Manager will provide support to Summit leadership on programs, services, operations and special projects. The position will also provide leadership support of various departments such as Health and Safety, Business Development, Program, Operations, Facilities, Registration and other related services to ensure efficient business operations at the Summit Bechtel Reserve.
Responsibilities
- Serves as a partner to the General Manager (GM) to maximize their time by aligning priorities at a strategic level.
- Analyzes, interprets, and provides recommendations to GM concerning department issues and other matters.
- Anticipates, identifies, and troubleshoots internal and/or external issues of concern or significance.
- Monitors information flow ensuring GM’s involvement at the right time.
- Manages key relationships, and provides oversight/guidance of important business initiatives.
- Manage contract and vendor agreement inflow/outflow to insure they are executed in a timely manner.
- Provides leadership on business development both internal BSA and external events to ensure alignment with financial goals, mission of SBR, and coordination of events on SBR property.
- Work with the GM to provide staff leadership to the SBR committee and the SBR Staff Association. Provide leadership to our onboarding and HR processes inconjunction with National Office to ensure proper procedures, paperwork, and processes are followed.
Education
- Bachelors from an accredited college or university preferred
Qualifications
10 years + experience preferred
Licenses
Commissioned Professional or ability to obtain within 18 months
