Centennial Quality Awards Program

The Centennial Quality Awards program is designed to recognize units, districts, councils, areas, and regions in achieving excellence in providing a quality program to a growing youth population in America at all levels of the Boy Scouts of America.


2010

2010 Centennial Quality Unit Recognition Flyer (No. 513-238)

This flyer describes the recognitions available to those units, districts, and councils qualifying for the award. It provides a description and shows images of the awards available.  It also briefly reviews the schedule for achievement.

2010 Council Centennial Quality Program Special Order Form (No. 513-754)

Once the districts and council have determined they qualify for the 2010 Centennial Quality Award and the achievement form has been completed and signed off, the council should order the proper recognitions.  Awards can be ordered through the Scout Shop or from the National Distribution Center.  This order from describes those items that are available with catalog numbers and prices.

2010 Centennial Quality Award Order Form for Units (No. 513-192)

Once the unit has determined they qualify for the 2010 Centennial Quality Award and the achievement form has been completed and signed off by the unit and district leadership, the unit can submit this from the order their recognitions.  A unit ribbon is provided at no charge to those units who qualify.  Awards can be ordered through the Scout Shop or the Local Council Distributor.  This order from describes those items that are available with the catalog numbers and prices.

2010 Centennial Quality Commitment and Achievement Form for Council Award (No. 513-190-1)

By March 1, 2009, the council should complete their 2009 Commitment form and share it with their area leadership for approval. This form can be completed by hand, on a typewriter, or you can enter all of the data on the computer by opening this link. You are able to type in the form, save the entered data, and then come back to your saved form, or send it to someone else with the blanks filled in. The "Interpretations" section is on the second page of the link and provides additional interpretation about the achievement for each criteria. Use the "Implementation Booklet" to learn more details about the program. You will use this same form and complete the "Achievement" column at the end of December 31, 2009.
