Job Description of National Venturing President
- Serves on the National Executive Board of the Boy Scouts of America.
- Serves as a "representative of youth" to the national Venturing Committee and national Program Committee. Attempts to express the needs, ideas, and concerns of all Venturers to these committees.
- Is responsible to the national Venturing Committee chairman, and works in close cooperation with the national director of Venturing and the national staff advisor.
- Participates in international, national, regional, area, and local activities upon invitation.
- Works with four regional Venturing presidents and National Boatswain to promote and support Venturing.
- Agrees to wear the Venturing uniform or identity items as suggested by the director of Venturing or national staff advisor.
- Must be a full time student while serving term as National Venturing President.
Must attend the national Venturing cabinet orientation set for July 10 – 13, 2008.
